1 (4 lb) beef chuck roast
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Place roast on large sheet of aluminum foil in baking pan or roasting pan with a lid. Sprinkle soup mix over roast; spread canned soup over all. Seal foil securely or if using roasting pan, place lid on pan. Bake at 300º for 4 hours. Serves 8. If you are at home while this meat is cooking, you may add potatoes and carrots during the last 1 1/2 hours of cooking time.
