Cake:
2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup nuts of your choice
Topping:
1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 6 ingredients and pour into a 13 X 9 inch pan. Combine brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350º for 40 to 45 minutes.
For topping, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over cake when taken from the oven.
