1 German chocolate cake mix
1/4 c. butter
1 14 oz. pkg. of caramels
1/3 c. milk
1 12 oz. pkg. of chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix as directed for 9x13 pan. Pour 1/2 the batter into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt together in saucepan the butter, caramels and milk. Pour over the baked cake. Mix the chocolate chips and nuts. Spread over the caramel mixture. Pour remaining cake batter over all. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes and 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Serves 10-12.
