1 1/2 cup oleo
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups oatmeal
chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325. Cream together oleo and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together thoroughly. Sift (or not) together flour, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture. Stir. Add oatmeal and choc chip's; stir until all ingredients are mixed together. Bake about 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. Remove from oven when they are still blond in color.

secret: If you can't roll the cookie dough into small balls without the dough sticking to your palms, you will need to add some additional flour.
