Ingredients:
Ingredients:
10 plain Hershey candy bars
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
3 tbsp. water
11/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9x13 pan:
In a 2 qt. sauce pan melt butter. Stir in sugar gradually. Add syrup and water: cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally to 290º on candy thermometer or until a little mixture in cold water becomes very brittle. Add 1 c. walnuts and cook three minutes longer stirring constantly. Pour into your pan. Allow it to get firm and the place half of candy bars on top. As bars melt spread over toffee. Sprinkle with 1/4 c. chopped walnuts and then turn onto wax paper. Put remaining bars on top of toffee and as they melt spread and sprinkle rest of chopped nuts. I like to score while hot so it is easier to break into pieces.
