1/2 Cup shortening
2 Cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 level cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix in the order given. Chill. ROll balls. Dip in sugar. Flatten with a glass. Bake at 350º until done.
