For the cake:

3/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Soft Butter
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Milk
1 1/2 Cup Sifted All Purpose Flower
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 Pinch Cream of Tartar
1 1/2 T Cinnamon

Topping:

6 tbs Soft butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/4 cup white sugar
1 tbs cinnamon

For the cake:

Mix together sugar, butter, and egg. Stir in milk. In a separate bowl sift together flower, baking powder, cream of tartar, and cinnamon. Slowly combine wet and dry ingredients until well blended. Bake in a greased 9" square pan for 25-35 minutes or until golden brown.

For the topping:

Mix all ingredients together with your fingers until 1/4" balls are formed. Sprinkle on top of the cake after it has been removed out of the oven while still warm.
