Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp lemon juice
8 tbsp water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift two cups flour with 1/2 tsp salt in large bowl. Mix in another bowl 1/2 cup shortening, 2 egg yolks, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 8 tbsp water. Add gradually to dry ingredients. Mix well and divide dough in 2 parts. 11/2 times the recipe for a large cookie sheet. AND THAT IS ALL SHE WROTE.

I assume that you peel, core and slice thinly around 5-6 apples and mix in cinnamon and sugar and some lemon juice. Roll out the 1st piece of dough to fit the bottom of the cookie sheet and place it there. Place the apple mixture over the bottom layer of dough. Then roll out the second piece of dough and place it over the apple mixture. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon/sugar mixture and bake at 325 until apples are juicy/cooked and dough in golden brown (maybe 30 minutes?)
