2 Tbsp. each of the following dried herbs; Thyme, Oregano, Chives, Basil
1 c. diced celery
1 lg onion, diced
1 c. cooked rice
1 c. button mushrooms, chopped
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 whole bay leaves
2 qts chicken stock

*Combine above ingredients, bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 45 minutes.

Add:
3 c. homemade Cream of Mushroom soup* or 2 cans (10 oz each) Cream of Mushroom soup
2 qts heavy cream
1 qt milk
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 Tbsp. lemon pepper
2 pints fresh blue crab meat

Let cook for about 1 hour in a double boiler.
Serve with dry sherry on the side. I recommend using 1 t sherry to a bowl of soup. Serve with sliced tomatoes on leaf lettuce with Cucumber dressing.
