3 C unsifted flour
2 C sugar
1 C mayonaise
1/3 C milk
2 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground salt
1/4 tsp ground cloves
3 C chopped peeled apples
1 C raisins
1/2 C coarsely chopped walnuts (I usually don't add)

Directions:
Grease & Flour 9"X13" cake pan OR 2 9" round baking pans.

In large bowl mix at low speed then beat for 2 min. scraping the bowl frequently the following:
flour, sugar, mayo, milk, eggs, and seasonings.
Batter will be very thick. Then stir in:
apples, nuts and raisins
Spoon batter into prepared pans and bake at 350º or till tester inserted in middle comes out clean. Let cool. May frost with whipped cream but not necessary.
