1/2 cup shortening/butter
1 tsp. salt
1 package yeast
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup lukewarm water
3 1/2 cups plain flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add salt and boiling water. Beat egg and add. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and add to your mixture. Add flour and mix good. Cover and put in Ice Box (Refrigerator). Take out rolls 2 hours before baking. Put on a greased pan. Brush on melted butter. Let rise in warm place. Bake in 400-425º until light brown 10-15 minutes.
