Good Goulash Recipe

1 lb hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
1 can diced tomatoes
14.5 oz jar Prego Italian sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 or 2 Tbls. chili powder
1/4 tsp.Tabasco sauce - optional
3 cups "large macaroni"

Saute hamburger and onions in heavy pan until lightly brown. Drain excess fat. Add tomatoes, Prego sauce, sugar, and rest of seasonings. Mix thoroughly. Simmer over heat about 45 minutes. Cook pasta; drain. Add meat mixture to pasta. Serve with garlic bread
