3 lbs.chicken
1/4 c. flour
4 Tbls. oil
c. diced onion
3 cubes chicken bouillon
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Dumplings:
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
2 Tbsp melted shortening
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Roll chicken in flour. Brown chicken in oil then pour off remaining oil. Add 1 cup diced onion. Combine 3 cups boiling water with 3 dissolve chicken bullion + 1 tsp.salt,1Tbls Worcestershire sauce, and cook in large heavy kettle. Simmer for 30 min. Add dumplings.

Dumplings:
Combine 1/2 c. oatmeal, 1 1/2 cup Bisquick, 2 Tbls. melted shortening, and 1/2 c. milk. Mix well. Drop into chicken broth. Cook 20 mins. or less.
