2 cups margarine
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
5 cups regular oatmeal (blended in blender until powdery--do this in small amounts)
24-oz. chocolate chips
8-oz. Hershey chocolate bar, grated
3 cups walnuts or pecans

Cream butter and sugars. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Gradually stir in dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Place golf-sized pieces of dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 6 -8 minutes. Do not overbake--they will not appear to be done, but overcooking will ruin them.
