2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
2 well-beaten eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
3 T. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
Frosting:
1 stick margarine
3 T, cocoa
6 T. milk
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with sugar and salt. Boil margarine, water and 3 T. cocoa. Pour hot mixture over flour mixture, mix. In another bowl combine eggs, soda, buttermilk, vanilla and cinnamon. Add to above mixture and mix well. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350º. Start icing the last 5 minutes: mix margarine, cocoa, and milk. Heat but do not boil. Remove, add powdered sugar, beat well, add nuts. Pour over warm cake.
