3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
3/4 tsp b. soda
1/2 tps salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup nuts

Cheese Topping
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 cup chocolate chips

Mix all but nuts, pour into paper lined muffin pans-1/2 full. Spoon 1 tbsp cheese topping to completely cover batter. Top with nuts, if desired. Bake 30 minutes at 350º
