Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. brown sugar
2 c white sugar
1 cup butter
1 1/2 pound peanut butter
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. Karo Syrup
4 tsp. soda
9 c oatmeal
1/2 lb. M&M candy
6 oz. chocolate chips
optional:
1 c salted peanuts
1 c butterscotch chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix in order given. The dough will be stiff. It is easiest to make balls by using a small scoop, dipped in water. Place balls on greased cookie sheet, and flatten with drinking glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 325º until light brown. (approximately 13 minutes)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a very large batch of cookies. I have made 1/2 batch before, and it is still large. I often make the whole batch and put the extra dough in ziplock bags in the freezer. I have also prepared plates of balls and frozen them for later use. For Christmas gifts, I use all Christmas colored M&M's and give plates of baked cookies or unbaked balls.
