4 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, salt, and water; heat to boiling. Sift and measure flour; add to boiling mixture. Beat vigorously until mixture leaves sides of pan or does not cling to spoon. Remove from fire; cool slightly. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time; beat thoroughly after each egg until mixture is smooth. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto well oiled muffin tins or a cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. If baking sheet is used, shape mixture into rounds and pile slightly in center. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 30 minutes; lower heat to 350 degrees and cook another 10 minutes or until firm and dry. Remove from oven, cool, cut a slot in side of each with a sharp knife.
