2/3 cups butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
2 2/3 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 large pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt butter in large saucepan. Add sugar and blend well. Let cool 10 minutes. Bear in eggs, one at a time. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Spread into greased pan 13 X 9 X 2", and bake for 25 to 30 min.
