1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
2 eggs beaten
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream shortening and sugars together. Add eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter. Blend thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into balls (about 1 - 1 1/2" diameter) and press with a fork on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.

If too sticky to roll, dust hands with flour.
