4 large sirloin, club, or T bone steaks
1 clove garlic, crushed (optional)
1 medium onion
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 small green pepper
4 or 5 small tomatoes (or 1 tablespoon tomato puree)
1 tablespoon mixed herbs
2 tablespoons butter

Put each steak on center of foil square.
Pile tomato and onion mixture on each steak; sprinkle with herbs.
Fold foil over to seal.
Bake in oven 15 minutes for rare, 20 minutes for medium, and 25 to 30 minutes for well-done steak
