4 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cook 3 c. sugar, corn syrup, 1/3 c. water, and salt to soft-hard ball stage. Fold cooked mixture into egg whites and beat. Cook remaining 1 c. sugar and 1/3 c. water to hard ball stage, combine with egg white mixture and beat. Add vanilla, nuts and beat until stiff. Pour into buttered pan.
