1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup water
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

FROSTING:
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup cocoa
5 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. box (3 3/4 cups) powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bring butter, shortening, cocoa, and water to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar; stir. Add remaining ingredients and stir until blended. Pour into jelly roll pan, and bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Cool slightly. Mix frosting and frost.
FROSTING: Bring margarine, cocoa, and milk to boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and powdered sugar to desired thickness.
