salt
shortening
yeast

Directions:

1/2 cup warm water 1 tsp sugar 1 pkg yeast, let rise for 10 minutes
Scald 11/2 cups milk, put in large bowl
add 1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
stir yeast and add
add one beaten egg
mix in 5-6 cups flour, turn out on floured board and knead, put in greased bowl grease the top and let rise about two hours. Cut into four balls and shape rolls , let rise again Bake 350º for 20 minutes.
To make cinnamon buns roll out a ball spread melted margarine , 1 tsp cinnamon to 1/4 cup brown sugar, sprinkle on top of melted margarine, roll like a jelly roll cut into 1 inch pieces set on cookie sheet, brush with melted margarine, when they come out of oven put icing on them.
