Spare ribs
Chopped onion
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 bottle ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
Sauce:
add vinegar, water, ketchup, and brown sugar in small saucepan and cook till it boils. add more ketchup and or brown sugar to taste.
Ribs:
Chop onion and spread over top of spare ribs before putting them in the oven
Cook ribs at 450º for 45 minutes, then pour sauce over ribs and turn oven down to 325º for 45 minutes. Turn ribs over 30 mintues before done. turn down to 200º to keep warm while you cook other food to go with the spare ribs, the longer you cook the ribs the more tender they will be.
