2 cups rolled oats ground fine
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2tablespoons melted shortening
1/4 c up molasses
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients, add shortening, molasses and milk. Mix thoroughly. Flour a board with a little of the ground rolled oats. Roll out in a thin sheet and cut with a cookie cutter. Bake in a moderate oven, 350º for about 12 minutes.
