1 lb. dried apricots
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple
3 1/2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
cut apricots into slivers with scissors, wash and drain. Add water and pineapple with juice. Let stand 5 - 6 hours. Stirring every now and then. Add sugar and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Bring to boiling, stirring as needed to prevent burning. Cook about 10 minutes until mixture is thick and transparent. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal immediately.
