Sour Cream Lemon Pie Recipe

1 c. sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1/4 c. butter
1 T. grated lemon rind
1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
1 9-inch pie shell, baked and cooled

Combine sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Add butter, lemon rind and juice, yolks, and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and fold in the sour cream.

Pour into cooled pie shell. Place a piece of plastic wrap across the top and refrigerate. Top slices with whipped cream and a little more grated lemon rind on the top. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
