1/8 lb salt pork. 2 lbs round steak cut into 2 inch cubes, 12 sm onions, 2 tbsp flour, 1 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp marjoram, 1/4 tsp thyme, 1 cup red wine, 1 cup bouillon, 12 sm potatoes or 4 cut up, 6 carrots cut up, 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms or 4 oz can drained

Fry salt pork until browned, add onions cook and stir until light brown, remove and set aside. Add meat and brown well, sprinkle 2 tbsp flour and spices. Stir and add 1 cup wine and 1 cup bouillon. Remove to casserole and cook 4 hours at 275º. Add potatoes, onions and carrots cook 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours more.
