1 c. yellow corn meal mix
1 egg (optional)
1 c. buttermilk
2 T. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, combine meal, egg and buttermilk. Pour oil in 9” iron skillet, then add mixture. Preheat oven to 450°, then bake on top rack for 25 minutes.
