Directions:
To make tarts: Mix cream cheese, butter, and plain flour together until soft dough, pinch off and place in tins. I use the bite-size muffin tins. Roll up a small ball and place in each tin and then form the cups for the filling. For filling: mix beaten egg, brown sugar, 1 T. soft butter, vanilla, pecans, dash salt. Put in shells and bake at 350º for 35 minutes. My oven heats a little hot, so I set it at 325º. Filling is easy to burn. I make a double recipe.

This is one of my favorite Christmas recipes I make every year. My family loves them, including my mom.
