2 sticks butter
¾ c. sugar
1 box diced dates
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. Shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Boil first five ingredients for two minutes or until dates are mushy. Cool and stir in 5 cups Rice Krispies. Butter hands and form mixture into small balls. Roll in shredded coconut and store in airtight container.

My Grandchildren like these Date Rice Krispies. Also good for holidays.
