1 box vanilla instant pudding
1 box yellow butter cake mix
½ c. rum
4 eggs
½ c. oil
½ c. cold water
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Glaze:
1 c white sugar
1 stick margarine
¼ c rum
½ c water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake ingredients together; put in bottom of floured and greased pan. Bake about 35 min. at 350°; take out when toothpick comes out clean; do not over bake. Prepare glaze by mixing sugar, margarine, ¼ cup rum and ½ cup water. Bring to a boil; pour over slightly cooled cake.

I’ve been making this cake since the early 70’s when I was taking ceramic classes from a lady in Norton, who graciously gave me the recipe – Pauline Still. It's a favorite everywhere I take it, especially at our Open Houses.
