Marinated Vegetable Salad Recipe

1 c. shoe peg corn
1 c. sweet peas
1 c. French cut green beans
1 small jar pimento
c. diced celery
c. diced green pepper
1 small onion, diced
c. sugar
c. vinegar
c. oil
salt & pepper

Mix corn (either white or yellow shoe peg), sweet peas, green beans, pimento, celery, green pepper and onion. Drain vegetables well. Put all in bowl. Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper together and pour over vegetables, mix lightly and let stand overnight. Drain well before serving. Double for large amount.
