1½ lb. extra lean ground beef
4 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans
1 med. cabbage, sliced
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (48 oz.) can V-8 juice
1 tsp. Hot Shot pepper
2 T. bacon grease

Cut in pieces:
1 yellow pepper
1 red pepper
1 large onion

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the cabbage, peppers, and onion in 2 cups water until slightly tender. Brown ground beef (leaving lumpy). Add red kidney beans, tomatoes, and V-8 juice, salt, Hot Shot pepper and bacon grease. Simmer about 1 hour.
