4 ears of white corn, scraped from the cob or, if you are really desperate, 2 (15 oz.) cans of corn, drained
1 (15 oz.) can creamed corn
1 (8 oz.) box corn muffin mix
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup sour cream
8 T. butter, melted (1 stick)
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350⁰. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into greased 2 1/2 quart baking pan. Bake for 50 ish minutes, until firm.

This recipe is easy and versatile. You can add sugar to make it sweet; or jalapenos or chilies, and cheese for a Mexican flair.
