Vonda’s Candied Nuts

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

In a bowl mix: 1 egg white and 1 Tbsp. cold water. Beat these until frothy, almost stiff.
Add to this: 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon.
Then add to this mixture approximately 1 pound of raw almonds or pecans.
Coat thoroughly.
Pour this mixture onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Immediately take these nuts off of pan, spread onto waxed paper and cool.
You can store these in a ziplock bag or freeze them for about 3 months, if you can get them to the freezer!
