1 pkg. of your favorite pie crust

Roll pie crust dough into 10" circle. Butter entire face of crust with 2 good tsp. of butter. Sprinkle completely with sugar. Sprinkle completely with a light layer of cinnamon. Roll dough (jelly roll style). Cut into 1-in. pieces. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and sprinkle each roll lightly with sugar. Bake at 350º for about 10 minutes, or until golden. Served best with a hot cup of tea or coffee.

These were always my very favorite treat and Gramma never made a pie or came over for a visit without them. The first thing she would say to me after after she kissed me hello was... "And guess what I made you, luvah? Close your eyes!" Then when I opened them, there they were in front of me. I always had to have one (or two...) even before we ate our dinner.
