1 6-oz. Package fine, thin noodles
2 tablespoons margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
1 cup or 4 oz. Provolone cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon dried basil

Meat mixture:

3 pounds ground beef, browned
1 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic
1 16-oz. Can tomatoes
1 18-oz. Can tomato paste
2 teaspoons white sugar

Directions:
Cook noodles. When done add eggs, parsley, margarine and parmesan cheese. Place in 10-inch pie plate. Sprinkle 2 0z. Or 1/2 cup provolone cheese on top. Cook meat mixture. Add basil. Put meat mixture on noodles. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 24 hours. Bake covered 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup provolone cheese. Bake 5 minutes until cheese melts. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.. Serves 6-8.
