3 large onions thinly sliced
13 oz beef broth
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp pepper
toast
slices of swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2 QT sauce pan saute butter and onions until brown and tender. Add beef broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce and pepper and simmer another 3 minutes. Pour into bowls and top with thick piece of toast and slice of cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is melted.
