15 ounce condensed milk, 1/2 cup lemon juice, 1 tsp grated lemon rind, 1 1/2 cups sifted flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 2/3 cup butter, 2/3 cup butter, 1 cup light brown sugar well packed, 1 cup uncooked oatmeal

Blend together milk,juice, rind,
of lemon - set aside. Sift together flour, baking powder & salt. Cream butter, blend in sugar. Add oatmeal and flour mixture and mix until crumbly. Spread half of mixture on 8 x 12 x 2 buttered baking pan and pat down. Spread condensed milk mixture over top and cover with the remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350º until brown around edges 30 minutes. Cool and cut
