1 cup raisins
1 cup water
5 whole cloves
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon cornstarch, at least
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

In a saucepan cover raisins with one cup water. Add cloves and simmer for 10 minutes. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Add to raisins. Stir until thickened. Add remaining ingredients. Serve hot. Store in refrigerator for several weeks.
