2 pounds hamburger
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can (4 oz) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
2 cans ( 10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
16 oz wide egg noodles, cooked and drained

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion in butter until browned. Stir in salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soup; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. stir in sour cream; heat through, but do not boil. Serve hamburger mixture over the noodles.
