Crust:
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
4 1/2 T. white sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the pretzels, sugar and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes or lightly toasted. Set aside to cool.

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
12 oz. container cool whip, thawed

Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Blend in the cool whip. Spread over the cooled crust. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

Top with 1 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries--either cut into halves or quarters depending on the size of the berry. Then drizzle with the following mixture.

Glaze:
3 T. cornstarch
3 T. light colored corn syrup
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water

Mix all together and heat until it boils and becomes thick. Then add 3 T. strawberry gelatin powder and mix. Cool thoroughly. Pour over the fresh strawberries.
