5 pieces bread, toasted, broken into bite-size pieces

Boil eggs for 10 minutes to hard-boiled state.

White sauce:

3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
Milk adequate to make a smooth white sauce

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and mix with wire whip. Add milk slowly mixing to a smooth sauce. Can use velvetta cheese if a cheese sauce is desired. Can also use pieces of cooked bacon if desired. Once sauce is smooth and creamy, slice hard-boiled eggs with egg slicer into sauce. Mix and spoon on broken-up pieces of hot toast in bowls. Salt and pepper to taste.
