1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla. Cover with half the nut filling and topping. Pour remaining batter over nut filling and top with same. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes in a 9x13-inch pan.

Cinnamon-nut topping and filling:

1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup nuts, finely chopped

Combine and mix well. Use as filling and topping for coffee cake.
