2 sticks butter, softened
2 tbsp Crisco
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp lemon extract

Glaze:
4 cups confectioners sugar
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
grated zest of 1 lemon
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar with butter and crisco. Add eggs one at a time.

Mix rest of ingredients into the above.

Pour into tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 90 minutes. While still warm, pour below glaze over cake.

Glaze:
Sift the sugar into the mixing bowl. Add the lemon juice, zest, oil, and 3 tbsp water. Mix with spoon until smooth
