1/2 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 2 eggs, 1 cup chopped nuts, 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 tsp soda, 1 tsp salt
Butter glaze for topping - 2 tbsp butter, 2 cup confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup evaporated milk

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, salt, and soda. Add alternating with evaporated milk. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Chill at least 1 hour even better overnight, Drop by tsp on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375º
Burnt Butter Glaze - 2 tbsp butter heated till golden brown, Heat butter add evaporated milk, confectioners sugar and beat till creamy. Spread on baked and cooled cookies.
