1 - 30oz bag shredded frozen hashbrowns
2 lbs sausage hot or mild
1 chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped red pepper
1 c sour cream
1 c french onion dip
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in skillet until browned. Drain well.
In large mixing bowl combine cheese, chicken soup, sour cream, french onion dip, chopped onion, chopped peppers and salt and pepper. Fold in thawed hashbrowns. Mix together well.
Spread 1/2 of the hashbrown mixture over bottom of 9x13 greased baking dish. Spread 1/2 of browned sausage over hashbrowns. Repeat layering second half of hashbrowns & sausage. Bake at 350º for about 1 hour or until golden brown.
