4 large heads of cabbage- shredded
1 T salt per quart jar
Lots of boiling water.

Directions:
Directions:
Stuff shredded cabbage into clean, hot quart jars packing cabbage tightly.
Add 1 T salt to each quart.
Fill jars with boiling water- carefully insert knife to get rid of air bubbles.
Seal jars after thoroughly cleaning all salt and cabbage from rim of jars.

Store in cool, dark place checking every 2 or 3 weeks to make sure jars aren't leaking.
Store for 3 months before using to allow for adequate fermentation.
